If I could give this cold brew coffee machine ten stars, I would. This is a high quality product and more people need to buy it. It really brews a concentrate that puts it above five stars. Other similar brewing devices, micro-filter insert in the form of a glass tube carafe, preparation of ready-to-drink (undiluted) cold brew coffee. It has a filter vessel big enough for the base to make the concentrate without sand. I took a chance and bought this one despite having so few (but rave) reviews because I wanted a smaller brewhouse that would do the same job as the big, bulky toddy system I've been using for many years. After 24 hours on the kitchen counter and emptying the filter with the handy filter holder, I had 32 ounces of black gold coffee concentrate. Doesn't really look like a jug but I filled it with filtered water and it still takes a little bit more water in every glass of iced coffee I make. The drink is good and STRONG! This coffee maker is beautiful, works like a dream and has the added bonus of being made in the USA. You won't regret taking the risk and trying this amazing cold brew system.
