VERY strong magnets! Work well.
Get ready. It's very strong. Installed on our 2 full size pantry doors and almost couldn't open them without pulling hard. In the end the metal contacts were moving where only half of them were touching and the pull was still strong but perfectly usable. Once used to how they work, we like the setting okay now. You don't have to worry that they are not strong enough.
