It's almost too strong, I should have gone with a slightly less powerful set. But they are very strong, if that's what you're looking for get them, if you don't want too strong I'd go for a slightly weaker set of magnets.

This is an amazing magnet. I have no idea how they make it so strong. You literally can't tear the plate off with your fingers. I have a closet that's a little warped and I need to close the gap. Get ready. It's very strong. Installed on our 2 full size pantry doors and almost couldn't open them without pulling hard. In the end the metal contacts were moving where only half of them were touching and the pull was still strong but perfectly usable. Once used to how they work, we like the setting okay now. You don't have to worry that they are not strong enough.

Works really well for our pantry doors and cupboards. We had these stupid little latches on the top of the door. I always had to adjust them to keep the door closed. They always seem too tight or too loose. These magnets work very well. I just filled the holes at the top of the door with wood putty. Then sanded and painted.
