Connection strength has degraded

Well it kinda degraded my Wi-Fi strength. I hate the defense. I have an external antenna that really helps my signal, but its cables weren't long enough. I bought it to be able to place it a little further away and in the same place the strength is worse than using the crappy plastic antennas that came with the motherboard.
