My son’s injury makes it difficult for him to open the bottommost drawers of his dresser. I applied one bumper on the back of the drawer face and another bumper on the dresser so that they lined up. The space that the bumpers create fits a reacher perfectly, so that my son may easily open his bottommost drawers without bending down. I took a chance when choosing this item, and I happily learned when I received the prompt shipment that these bumpers are partially soft like rubber, not brittle. So they won’t crack easily. I’ve never heard of clear rubber, yet these clear bumpers feel like rubber. I can see other uses for them around the house, like rubber feet on the bottom of my foo dogs, large, heavy vases, etc.
