Review on Extra Guard CA10262 Panel Filter by Brian Edwards

Until recently this was a great product. I bought one today and they are now much thinner and much cheaper. They reduced the element's material by about 20 or 25%, so it's about 1/4 inch or so thick. and they added two sealing strips across the inlet side of the element. It's useless if the thing bursts or falls down. I wonder how much damage it will do? Anyway, I always write the date and mileage on them with a marker before changing them. So I'm going to know and let the people at the oil change shop know that I'm keeping an eye on it and not paying them $25 to $35 to change the oil. , thinner, a piece of junk and I will never buy another FRAM product again. I've been buying them for about 32 years for all the many cars I've had, not just one but two or three. Ready. I will find another supplier that still makes full size filters. Thank you FRAM for tricking me and turning your previously great product into a piece of junk.
