We have a 16 inch children's bike and due to its design the axle bolt is not wide enough to loosen the training wheel bracket. allows it to protrude 1/4 inch from the bike frame and does not allow enough threads to be screwed in to securely attach the nut. Also, before you buy, check ours to make sure the bike axle bolt protrudes at least 1.5 inches to accommodate the jockey wheel frame.
