Good quality for the price. In case you didn't know, this is an inexpensive compass. However, it has a liquid-filled center, which makes a big difference when choosing a compass. The liquid helps stabilize the needle. The liquid does not freeze, but sometimes forms bubbles that usually do not interfere with the movement of the needle. The needle is magnetized and points north every time. This ring, marked with degrees from 0° to 360°, surrounds the outer edge of the needle capsule. The smaller the degree interval, the easier it is to navigate accurately. The base is flat and transparent, with plenty of navigation markers, including a ruler for measuring distances on the map. This is an excellent compass often used by Boy Scouts.
