I received this device recently and I was very satisfied with its functionality. The little handles that open when you start the car are very nice, they exude a kind of luxury and welcome you in the car and as soon as you put the phone down it clamps and starts charging quickly. that it may have come with a tissue to fix the suction rings that are left behind when you remove the device or try to reposition it. It has so many different (3 I guess) pivot locks that you can tweak to your liking. to hang on or how far it reaches you. I wish it could be side mounted but it slips due to the suction cup axle which doesn't have a clip. But when the spots are flat or slanted it works fine as shown, I have it where my stroke curves down. Otherwise a great unit and if it breaks I hope I can get a replacement by contacting them through the seller page (hope seller can confirm). That's an added bonus 👍🏻Updated August 20, 2021 In-car use. I live in hot California where a car can get up to 120 degrees in the sun. Unfortunately, the grips don't stand up to the heat and your phone will fall off along with the mount on hot days. Besides that. I understand that overheating cannot be stopped, but my phone gets very hot when using this charger. Finally. Both of my rubber grips fell off the mount which resulted in my phone not always being clamped when the phone was placed in the mount. Unfortunately, when you turn it, it just falls out. Last note. When fully charged, it will release the phone. then it crashes when you don't expect it because you never opened the phone.
