They are so useful in so many ways and of excellent quality.

Usually excellent ball quality! I use them for sauerkraut, with fermentation suckers and to boil down my fruit juice. I buy my spices in bulk and use them to store the spices, as well as my vacuum sealer with a used wide-mouth lid for sealing. Keeps all my spices fresh for months. In fact, I have star anise that has been stored this way for over a year and has not lost its potency. They can be used to hold rice, beans, flour, sugar, etc. If you're using flour, powdered sugar, or whatever, just slide a coffee filter over the powder, roll up the side a bit, and vacuum.
