These blocks are not police blocks. I didn't know the difference until now. Apparently I have police circles. Non-police pads hang over the rotor when attached to the police pack calipers. Incorrect pad size will cause wear and possibly abnormal contact on the outer edge of the rotor. I have a 2002 Sable Van with new calipers. Please know the difference between police and non-police brake pads and calipers. There is a nice picture on the listing where you can see the size difference between them. Do not install oversized gaskets. These large fit but are too big. The pads should have no more and no less contact with the surface of the rotor. Be safe there :-)
