Wagner QuickStop ZD598 Ceramic Disc Brake Pads - Enhance Vehicle Performance Review

I needed front brakes and my brake discs were fine. So I compared online shopping and found great front brake pads. These ceramic pads are Wagner. I wouldn't be happier if I wasn't taking TEN TIMES THE NORMAL DOSE OF ANTIDEPRESSIONS!

Replaced the brake pads on my car with a retail bought set. The pads made noise when braking. Bought another set from the same retail store hoping the first set was defective. He had the same problem. Then I thought to try these Wagner kits and they are quiet.

Do they work? Yes, the car stops. Be quiet? No, louder than replacement pads. Double checking by replacing old pads for a day. Little dust? Not really, of all low-dust ceramic discs, these dust discs are larger than the others. The hardware was rubbish, impossible to use, making a grinding noise. Ford Taurus 2004

To be honest I don't think the gaskets they sent me are actually ceramic. The packaging says they are metal. And I know what the last 5 sets of ceramic pads I installed look like and they definitely look metal. I'd bet money they aren't ceramic. But I had already removed the wheels from the car and needed brakes, so I installed them. They fit perfectly and work great.

It took a while for my rebate to be processed but that's partly my fault. I don't like cleaning the brake dust off the rims every week. These blocks are not police blocks. I didn't know the difference until now. Apparently I have police circles. Non-police pads hang over the rotor when attached to the police pack calipers. Incorrect pad size will cause wear and possibly abnormal contact on the outer edge of the rotor. I have a 2002 Sable Van with new calipers. I am very happy with these new brake pads that I have fitted to my car. They have really good bite under braking and definitely work better than the standard pads I've used before. I've ridden about 8,000 miles on these new pads and so far have no complaints! All I can say about their calm is that they haven't started squeaking yet.
