Review on EPSON T200 DURABrite Ultra Cyan Ink Cartridge - Standard Capacity For Epson Expression And WorkForce Printers by Geoff Foster

I want my money back

I recieved the item from Ebay, and I installed the cartilage in my printer. I have done this many times before, and everything was done right. I printed a page, but black ink did not show up anywhere. So I did a head cleaning using my printer, then, I did a check. The black print started to appear but it was irregular, leaving some parts unprinted. I did another head cleaning and another check. Slightly but surely the black ink was improving. My Epson400 printer manual states to repeat the head cleaning/check procedure 3 to 6 times until the print is clean. About the 3rd cycle in, the printer gave me an indication that the ink cartilage was already empty! Then, it refused to print anything because there was no more black ink! I have head cleaned my printer with other cartilages before and they all had more than enough ink to do the head cleaning and print hundreds of pages beyond that. This ink cartilage has SIGNIFICANTLY LESS INK compared to other regular cartridges! This is surprising because the package is vacuum sealed and looks legit. I threw away the box because it looked legit, and now I can not even return it. I lost money and time because of this product. Stay away. I neglected to read the reviews before buying this product thinking it was a legit epson ink cartilage, but now that I read the reviews, a lot of people are having the same problem: that there is too little ink in the cartilage! I want my money back!

Pros
  • I like that my printer recognizes it as a true Epson producr
Cons
  • The cyan cartridge is used less frequently than other cartridges, causing it to dry up faster
