Don't I know how much I would love to have this freezer but now that I've used it a few times I have to say it's a great addition to my kitchen! - I make a large batch of pesto every year at the end of summer, before the basil is ripe. frozen on the outside and this year I froze it in 1/4 cup sections using this tray. It comes off easily and now I have portions that are logical when I thaw it. - When I make a good soup, my husband and I don't eat it all. Now I can freeze it in usable 1-cup portions for when either of us wants a bowl of soup for lunch. Frozen food pops out fairly easily, although any chunks you might have gotten on the sides that are now frozen chunks will slip off your hands, off the countertop, just about anywhere, and melt in there, so watch out. Washes great in the dishwasher.
