. My 11 year old French Pug has a fatal chicken allergy. So far it has been safe food for him. When I opened the new bag and fed my dogs 3 weeks ago, Fonzie's first feeding was throwing up all over the house. Couldn't figure out what caused it. In the evening it happened again and into the night. I thought the only difference would be this new bag which I bought from Amazon as always. I decided to look at the contents of the package to see how ill my dog was. That's it - our verified booth now includes chicken flour as the 5th ingredient. Same label without warning! It goes on for 3 miserable weeks of vomiting, diarrhea and sleepless nights, washing at 2am and new bed changes after that single meal of the antagonistic chicken protein in this feed. Since then we've spent over $400 on medication, lab tests and getting our poor Fonzie to the vet. He hasn't left the forest yet. Now he's eating Rx Royal Canin Gastro out of a can. Thanks Nutro for ruining a good cause and almost killing my dog. After more than 10 years of feeding with this food you have lost a loyal customer. I will never trust Nutro again - never again!
