I bought these to replace the airbags that deployed on my GX. You can read online how to spend more money on this job, including buying all kinds of kits, racks and mounts, and you'll get the idea. I picked them up having worked on many cars over the years. . Very easy installation (as far as car repairs are concerned). Remove the old bags, use a bottle jack to extend the clearance between the axle and the bracket, insert the spring, remove the jack, mount the wheels and off you go. Since then I've ridden a few bumpy roads so far so well. Got new tires right after the repair and the GX ran like new afterwards. The best part is that the people I got the car from sold it to me for a few thousand less than they wanted because they factored in the cost of getting it repaired by their mechanic. I think when I got these pens they were about $115. It was worth the effort on my part and my new DuraTrac tires were basically free. TL:DR: They work, buy them if you feel comfortable.
