This unit worked great. This allows me to keep a four wire connection for a boat trailer and a seven wire connection for an RV. Just note that the white ground wire on a flat four-prong plug goes nowhere in a seven-prong plug. It had me spinning in circles for a while when I plugged it in. Be sure to purchase a mounting bracket if you need one. I had to do one.
