Review on Yokohama Geolandar I/T-S G073 215/65 R16 98Q winter by Micha wierczewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I took UAZ Patriot in the amount of 265/75. Consumption has not increased despite the size and rather evil tread. In an icy hill, a slope - it’s scary to look at, I drove in without problems, although I couldn’t get there on evil muds in the winter. Rowing vigorously. It’s good in the city on packed ice, I didn’t notice a difference with the spike, it seems to slow down even better than the domestic spike, but it can take a little more in corners at speed. It's not critical for me, I don't drive faster than 110 in winter. I’ll leave this one - I’ll take the same one, although I don’t know when I’ll leave - for 2 seasons, wear is not visible at all, a millimeter may be gone.

Pros
  • quiet, soft, predictable behavior on ice, excellent rowing on slush, excellent price, wear resistance
Cons
  • Very soft. As it warmed above +10 - that's it, change your shoes. Not all season. The sidewall feels soft and weak, in general a suspiciously light tire, perhaps there is little cord or it is not steel. Although for 2 winters there are no cuts, no hernias, no burst flagella, but I regularly stop by the curbs and in the forest I drive along fallen trees along sharp branches. Questionable in general. It’s not easy to get out of a deep icy rut, it’s not spiked, and there are no pronounced side hooks.
