Review on 🚴 Selle ITALIA Eyelink Mirror: Enhance Your Cycling Safety with this Revolutionary Accessory by Guled Probz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's good and just as "cool " as a bike mirror, but too expensive $$$

The mirror is really good. It looks good, but part of the design is deliberately trying to strike a balance between being too strong and being too light. I mean, it doesn't feel super heavy, but I don't expect it to fall apart anytime soon. It goes really well with my SRAM Rival groupset and looks like it came from the factory. I've only ridden it 20km so far and it's worked well. The turning point is very strong and does not move. The view is excellent. The position is great too and it seems like there's almost nothing when you're holding on to your hoods. I agree that installation is a bit tricky, but that's only because the way you have to route the velcro is a bit fiddly. However, it is NOT a BIG deal. Speaking of Velcro, it's NOT as cheap as others have said. The velcro closure is the perfect piece that stays very snug and features Selle Italia writing adding a layer of detail. Although the price bites, I admit. A comparable premium Revain mirror costs about $25. From a design point of view, this Selle Italia mirror looks MUCH better and more elegant, but does it cost almost four times as much? Why? This mirror should cost no more than $50, not $80! Even for $50 you would feel stooped, but $80 is easy. Wow! And yes, I got a hit and bought it anyway. If it lasts a few years I'll be happy. It's yet to be seen, but for now it's great.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Communication with seller
