I have flat handlebars on my road bike. This creates a lot of "bits” on the bar. I have shifters on both sides, handbrake levers on both sides, and all of this limits the space available to install aero bars, which wouldn't be an issue if using drop bars. These aero bars are a great choice as the armrests fold down and tuck away when not in use giving me easy access to my shifters that a fixed stop design would block. There are many adjustments. It takes a little getting used to, like any aero bar, but after a day of riding it felt completely natural. They are a little pricey but I think it's worth the price. They are also very light given the complexity of the mechanism.
