Good idea, holds up well but definitely more work to set up on the beach or sandbar compared to a classic anchor. After the first use on the beach, the extension could no longer be stowed away on the way home. Made it come back and eventually hit the dock, but now it's stuck at the minimum length/save length. Let's see if we can pry it off with a hammer and clean it as suggested by other reviews. But every time the anchor is used, there is too much work to do. I became the second / stern anchor because it takes up much less space compared to the classic anchor. Good idea, but impractical
