Very cool product. I've looked at Power Poles or Minnkota Raptors but right now it's too much for my price range. This sand shark is perfect for my 21 foot center console in Florida. Easy to stow away. Easy to use.

The product works great and easily holds our 21ft bow rider in place. The anchor came with chipped paint and scratches. Bought new but looks used, or did Ace Ventura deliver the package? The storage bag also had a few tears. I left because our summer is so short. Apart from the delivery I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

This worked great, we are going to a sand bar in Torch Lake Michigan and it might be a little windy. I was a bit reluctant at first but after that I never really thought about how much I paid afterwards. Worth every penny. I was approached by 2 different people asking what I have as my Malibu wakesetter never moved and they had to re-anchor every 30 minutes.

We are boat club members and sometimes the quality of anchors on boats leaves a lot to be desired. We spend a lot of time on the sandbar where currents can be quite strong. Good idea, holds up well but definitely more work to set up on the beach or sandbar compared to a classic anchor. After the first use on the beach, the extension could no longer be stowed away on the way home. Made it come back and eventually hit the dock, but now it's stuck at the minimum length/save length. Let's see if we can pry it off with a hammer and clean it as suggested by other reviews. But every time the anchor is used, there is too much work to do. I became the second / stern anchor

I used the dowel for the first time this weekend when I screwed it into the sand, at first I thought it wouldn't hold up so well, but that was a mistake, because after I had completely tied off the anchor and the boat went nowhere so well held in the sand. I have tried 4 other types of beach anchors and settled on this one which works. Things I like include: great handle design, telescopic rail easy to store, drill bit works better than others I've tried. I highly recommend taking a bungee cord. It's worth it. When it arrived everything looked fine except the handle. The part that slides. One side was badly scratched. Maybe it slipped during delivery? I was disappointed but I think if it can be scratched in transit it will stay the same in use. I have no intention of babysitting or flaunting it.
