Revainrating 5 out of 5

He does what's on the bench.

I haven't used it much so can't say much about short term let alone long term survivability. That disclaimer aside, it absolutely does what it says on the tin. I was able to play Journey and GTA 5 from my PS3 on a cheap old LCD monitor. This is important because of the dirty little four letter word called HDCP. HDCP was invented by the devil to punish conscientious consumers for the existence of overly complicated piracy practices. This little key (hee hee) does something technical with [REDACTED] HDCP so that you can use the device in completely normal usage scenarios. Of course, it's common knowledge that you can buy little boxes of HDCP [REDACTED] anywhere, varying wildly in price and quality, but having to buy one just to keep a decent old monitor would be ridiculous. from the landfill. TLDR: HDCP is evil. This product is good. They would also do well not to pollute the planet with electronics that still work. Hooray. or so.
