Review on 🔍 SMAKN 0.56" 3-Digit 3-Wire DC 0-100V Blue LED Voltmeter Voltage Display Module with Reverse Protection by Simon Nugroho

I was specifically looking for a blue LED 3-wire voltage indicator for a power supply I was making. The 3rd wire enables measurements below the display supply voltage. I wanted to go down to almost zero volts. I was a little hesitant to buy this one as the display didn't look like it had a color filter in front of the display. The color filter covers the unlit LED segments, improving the aesthetics. I received the display and it has no filter. Look at the first photo and the display is difficult to read. The photo below shows the static bag packaging on the front, which is tested as a filter. Notice how easy it is to read now. The following photo shows the 3 layers of the package inserted into the module. I opened up the display panel on the back and cut the case to fit the display opening. In the last photo, the display is without a backlight. Much better looking. Advantages: The 3-wire voltage is lower than the supply voltage. Accuracy with my Fluke digital voltmeter. Calibration adjustment is not required. segment height. Cons: No display filter to block unlit segments of the display. However, it is possible to use a static bag as an effective filter.
