I have to agree with the vast majority of reviews that this leaves a film on the dishes. I just bought a new tabletop dishwasher for my apartment so I don't have to wash dishes by hand anymore. I bought this cleaner for it. I've definitely used dishwashers in the past, this is the first place I live that doesn't have a dishwasher and I haven't been able to wash my hands. Either way, this is probably the worst cleaner I've ever used. I don't usually like pads because you can't fill the "prewash" compartment with a pad. So I'll go with the liquids. Well, this dish soap leaves my dishes with cling, film and residue. Also with rinse aid at max. The only reason I went with it was because it was the cheapest option. Rather spend a little more for a different product.
