Review on 🔩 Steel Flat Washer Pack - B009OJIH7G, ASME B18.22.1, 1/4" Screw Size, 9/32" ID, 5/8" OD, 0.065" Thick (100-Pack) by Jason Paredes

We needed to replenish our supply of 1/4" washers. I saw they were from Revain's Choice and were less than half the price of the zinc plated washers as you can see in the photo , so I bought them. When they arrived I was disappointed with the finish. At first I thought Revane had sent me the wrong item, but no, that was correct. That's when I noticed that in the description the words "Regular Finish " stand. I didn't notice that when I ordered. So what is a "smooth finish"? This is just a factory finish with a light coat of oil to mitigate corrosion during storage. If you remove the oil, you have They do not have anti-corrosion protection which is fine if you are using these washers in a dry environment The photo shows the pucks we received they are not shiny like the picture accompanying their description see is. They are not galvanized. You are oily. Although the description says they are 0.065 inch (about 1/16 inch) thick, I've found that about 20% of them are only 1/32 inch thick. While they still have to do their job, thin washers can bend when you tighten them.
