SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO IT YOURSELF!

I installed this myself on a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5L 4cyl with 178,000 miles. After reading reviews and doing a lot of research to make sure I was buying the right part, I settled on this particular Dorman model. The second plug was actually included with the product and although I had already received it as a precaution, it was never needed. I can tell you that you will need to tighten the one that comes with it as mine was very loose. I used the heat shield that came with the kit and made very minor adjustments to ensure the fit was correct. The outer shell fits perfectly. The product is easy to install except this model has a bottleneck around the wiring harness box to pull out the bottom alternator bolt. That took longer than the whole installation. There was a bit of smoke after the first 50 miles or so, maybe from the newness, oiling, etc., but that's gone, and the math is 31mpg on the interstate at an average speed of 72mph (AL to KY). ). Oh yeah, and the best part is I saved over $1,000 doing it myself as a mechanic in our area wanted $1,200 for a job that took me 2 hours. $200 of its price was a job I had no problem with, but the $980 "piece" was a problem.
