Review on Freud FB 011 2 Inch 8 Inch Forstner: Efficient Drilling Performance and Precision by John Koch

I bought this for an important project I'm working on. I had other Forstner parts, but when I was building a sign for a client I needed to drill some precise holes for some of the lights I was installing in the sign. I've long been a fan of Freud's instruments; I almost exclusively use their milling cutters and circular saw blades. This Forstner bit did the job and even better than I expected when drilling a 1/4" deep hole in 1/2" birch plywood. The holes were clean and smooth with no cracks. remained relatively cool due to their design. As most people know, heat is denture's worst enemy. I will add to my collection of Freud Forstner beats because they are worth the money.
