Review on ACDelco 19329330 Steering Shaft by Tyler Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy installation for a mechanic with basic knowledge

The steering shaft, which of course belongs to the OEM, is perfect. It's easy to replace if you have basic skills and metric tools. As with most modern cars, removing other parts will take longer than fixing the problem. On my Duramax Chevy, I had to remove the large air tube before I could see the steering shaft. I also found it much easier to remove the accelerator pedal to access the top end of the shaft. Neither is difficult, just time consuming. This is the third countershaft and lower bearing at just over 160,000 miles on my 2006 Silverado so expected life is around 75,000 miles.
