I bought this cave for my betta because I figured 'all natural' would be fine for him. I cooked it before putting it in the aquarium as directed in the instructions. My Betta didn't care but I left it there so he could get used to it. After a few days, I noticed that he was acting more like a recluse than his usual active demeanor. A week later, he's fighting for his life, barely holding on. Needless to say I threw it away and had to empty its entire tank due to black mold forming. I am treating him now and I hope he recovers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product unless you are trying to kill your fish!
