Review on Drywall Tapping Kit: Assorted Sheetrock Tools for Furniture Installation by Joseph Adaymiln

good closures for the money

For such a price I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Their quality is very acceptable. The threads are good and don't feel like cheap metal threads like many Chinese fasteners. They look like normal black oxidized steel nuts and bolts. If you're not used to buying black oxide coated fasteners, you should understand that they are soaked in some kind of machine or cutting oil. It doesn't smell very good, it will stain your clothes, so just expect it. Also, the container is pretty much useless, so just think of it as a vessel to supply you with screws. But these things are okay. An alternative is stainless steel, which isn't as strong and tends to form gall. For a clasp this small, I prefer carbon steel. Maybe you can look for a better organizer and pay more. Or just take this kit and bring it to your own container.
