Review on Airaid 400 966 M I T Modular Intake by Mark Holloway

Terrible design. This snorkel pulls air out of a hot engine compartment rather than a cooler wing like the standard design. They tried to make it look like a compressed air intake, but it's mounted so that the air intake is behind the driver's side headlight, which doesn't let fresh air in while driving or idling. I even put a powerful fan in front of the grate, and this tube didn't get any fresh air. When I opened the box the quality control sheet showed the box date and the date was 02/02/2006 so this part was boxed over 11 years ago and Revain sells 11 year old parts. The metal bracket was already rusted in the bag. Terrible experience and terribly designed, ineffective product.
