I read an interesting study that concluded that aloe has the potential to have the same (if not more) antibacterial properties as the common antiseptic mouthwashes at the level of dental surgeons. I think it's best to use natural remedies whenever possible, especially when bacteria are involved. This mouthwash is excellent and is now a staple in our daily lives. Since it's green and takes some getting used to, I like to use it as a pre-rinse; Then apply a good bleach after cleaning. No cavities after use!
