Review on 🚲 Stay Hydrated and Stay Safe with the CamelBak Lobo Bike Hydration Backpack - Helmet Carry - Magnetic Tube Trap - 100 oz by Sheppard Priest

Great bike backpack, pretty compact but 3 liters for water is great!

This is a great backpack for long bike rides, especially here in hot Florida. After only 25 miles one way I easily drink the whole pack, then load up at a nice rest stop near the beach (they have a huge water cooler that anyone passing by can use) and then head back. 25 miles. For fountains in other places, I use my water bottle to draw water from the fountain and then pour it into the pack to recharge it that way. So having a water bottle on the bike is still very useful as most places only have fountains. no large coolers with spouts. Don't count on loading your backpack directly at an old well, it won't be easy. I didn't really put my helmet on my backpack, it doesn't make much sense to me and doesn't seem practical. It's more trouble than it's worth. Maybe others used clips and liked them but I think it's just a marketing feature, it's useless to me and certainly not very secure. The backpack was also used on the Westfall Trail and the Narrows in Zion. (although I had to be careful and had to lift the bag over my head in places as there was an algal bloom then I couldn't let the narrow water reach the drinking water bag). I could never do a day hike without a backpack, especially the west end part, it starts just past the corner landing at Scout lookout and leads to a lookout very few people go to that was excellent apart from the fallow deer. who ran through the mountain serpents. I'm just glad it wasn't a mountain lion, otherwise it would definitely have been the last hike! Not that they let you protect Zion! The trek was only 10 miles that day and there was absolutely nowhere to store water, so the backpack was crucial to staying hydrated for summer 2020 in Zion. Great multi-purpose hydration pack, but definitely only for day hikes, of course you can't put anything in it!
