Nice cover that looks sexy

I originally wanted to get an SFF case because I like having desk space, but the more I researched and built different companies, the more I fell in love with the RGB trend and settled on Corsair - Crystal 570X RGB Mirror Black ATX Mid case towers. The case chosen is a mirror black which looks very sexy in the light and looks even sexier when the lights are off as the insides glow and use a two way mirror. The case is an upgraded version of Corsair's Crystal 570X RGB case. . It includes a PSU shroud, PSU access through the top rubber cutout on the shroud for easy access to motherboard connectors, front USB 3.1 Type CE/A, and Corsair RGB logos. The kit includes Corsair SP120 fans so I replaced them with an LL120 RGB and added Commander Pro for full software control of the RGB fans and I'm considering adding some LED strips in the future. The addition of Commander Pro disables the onboard hardware buttons at the top for lighting control. , which I don't see as a disadvantage as I prefer software control of the light every day. The Corsair forum has been a lifesaver when it comes to connecting fans to RGB and Command Pro hubs, so be sure to check there if you run into any issues. The cable management works really well with the rear fairing cover but it would be nice to see more attachment points especially on the front of the case as the Commander Pro comes with 4 thermal conduits and I had a hard time finding the right spots, to mount them. Also, I'm still waiting for my 8TB drive, so there are loose cables at the second drive location that will be erased when it's installed. The airflow in this case is amazing and helps keep everything cool, although I'm still considering moving the HDD. Cooler on the front and leave the top fan intake for more positive pressure to reduce dust but I'll give a setup to try to see how bad it is. The only thing I don't like about this case is that there's only room for 2 3.5 HDDs in the back, but I knew that before I bought it. I wanted to add a third one for my PLEX library but I would need to place it on the bottom of the case in front of the PC next to the PSU shroud and I'm not sure I want it there.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • is embarrassing
