Review on Neofyte T14P Portable External Raspberry with Built-In Speakers, 60Hz by Steven Nussbaum

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent image quality, HDR inaccurate, great for productivity

The NEOFYTE T14P is a good 1080p 1920x1080 external monitor. I connected it to my Samsung laptop with a Thunderbolt cable and it turned on immediately. Windows 11 added a second monitor and I was able to use it without any settings. I had to turn the brightness up to almost 100%, but when I did that everything was sharp and clear. Not sure if this is related to my laptop's graphics card, but enabling HDR made the display blurry - it looks awful. Enabling HDR on the primary display looks nice (it's an OLED display) but can't be used on this monitor. At around $100, it's the right price and definitely increases my productivity and focus while traveling. I was able to expand the display and move the Skype call to an external monitor while doing spreadsheets on the main monitor - without having to switch back and forth!
