I bought these to replace battery powered headlamps that change all the time. I love her. Choosing an easily rechargeable headlamp is a must for me and my assistant. I use a headlamp a lot at work and when I need it, I NEED it. I rarely carry extra batteries. The only downside to these headlamps is that you can only use them for about 4 hours. It's not a deal breaker as my shifts are around 4 hours long and I can charge it just about anywhere while stopping for lunch and it's ready to go to work on my afternoon. My c/o also regularly goes for walks in the dark at night, and since she needs light outside very often, a rechargeable battery is a must. She loves hers too and he just needs a quick charge every few days. These lights are pretty powerful too. Any setting can actually damage your eyes by catching the beam on your face. You have to be careful with these things or you will easily blind someone temporarily. My c/o regularly blinds me when wearing hers. Turning the motion sensor on/off is fine, but it can be tricky to keep it in that position as ANY movement in front of it turns it on or off. For example, turning your head with any object in front of you is enough for the light to work. It would be better if it was somehow less sensitive to movement and only required a very conscious movement of the hand. It works, maybe TOO well. I also love that the branding on this headlamp just says exactly what it is. 'HEADLIGHT'. No obscure rebranding by an unknown organization. It's just "FAR". The Micro USB charging port has a small protective rubber cover to protect the ports. Unfortunately, when attempting to access the charging port, this rubber cover easily detaches from the device and is very difficult to put back on. I've since bought another set for colleagues who seem to really like it and the only complaint seems to be a general one: it would be better if the charge lasted longer. Thing is, you just can't beat them at this price point, and charging them takes a lot less of a hassle than finding replacement batteries. Lots of benefit. Very happy with these headlights. Would buy again. Today they are an integral part of our daily life.
