The cover is still pretty solid even though it takes all my strength.
The color of this wall plate is not very consistent which makes me doubt the quality of the plastic. The lid is still pretty tight, although I had to do my best to pull and bend it to dislodge it, but the lid doesn't break. And it completely covers the base plate. What I don't like about this product is that it's too thick. Most of my switches and outlets are recessed into the wall with this cover. (not even). I know I can adjust the switch and outlet but it will take too long.
