The watch did not lose its ability to function when it was dropped from a bicycle, although it did suffer some cosmetic damage in the form of scratches on both the glass and the case. It appears that the glass is made of plastic. After requesting that the service center replace the case for me, they informed me that the model in question is non-separable and that the case cannot be replaced. This is something that I consider to be a serious downside for a sports watch because, after all, with active use, things like this are certain to happen. Neither the watch nor the manufacturer is one that I would recommend.
