A good product, I advise you to try it.

Previously located on M400, but now relocated. The current pace can't be shown normally at all; it jumps within a minute, and that's the worst letdown. I maintain a consistent pace: 4:30, then 5:40 on the clock. The M400 has never had any issues. Average speed, distance, and lap time were not displayed by default on the screens. I was taken aback by this at first, but after investigating the layout of the displays, I was able to add a standard pace, details on the levels, and a few more…

Pros
  • Rapid satellite investigation Quick and simple one-click phone synchronization Modifying the Display The Study of Sleep Lengthy period of labor
Cons
  • You may see the current speed "from the lantern"; it increases after a minute.

A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

After surgery, it's crucial to keep an eye on the Pope's heart rate, so I took that responsibility upon myself. The primary objective while selecting a watch was to provide information about the pulse rate output beyond a specified threshold. I inquired about this possibility in the online community and received confirmation from a store employee. Therefore, it is doable, but inconvenient while the training is active. Please keep it on all the time. Otherwise, there are no problems. The father…

Pros
  • Superb quality workmanship

The watch did not lose its ability to function when it was dropped from a bicycle, although it did suffer some cosmetic damage in the form of scratches on both the glass and the case. It appears that the glass is made of plastic. After requesting that the service center replace the case for me, they informed me that the model in question is non-separable and that the case cannot be replaced. This is something that I consider to be a serious downside for a sports watch because, after all, with…

Pros
  • The functionality is in par with what was anticipated.
Cons
  • The pulse sensor is displaying unexpected values. When you are competing in a sport, there will be instances when you should not put your faith in it and instead connect an external one. Non-repairable! See comment.

No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

This gadget serves as my sole sports tracker. None of the features of a smart watch interest me at all (texting, audio control, etc.). The extended battery life and location tracking capabilities are crucial to me. This works flawlessly in this model, thus I don't think any of the issues you raised are too serious. Of course! This is Polar, not an iPhone, Galaxy, or Honor. Polar has been manufacturing fitness trackers for a lot longer than these cellphones have been around. My data is more…

Pros
  • First, it has a low power usage. If you practice for an hour and a half every other day, you may get by on a single charge for two to three weeks. Polar's FLOW service, number two. Fantastic exercise log that also includes graphs and other helpful statistics. Thirdly, the GPS/Glonass is quite precise. Rapidly and precisely locates the user. You can customize the sampling rate in the training mode settings.
Cons
  • For a beginner, the transflective screen is still rather effective. 1. Yes, it conserves a great deal of power, but users accustomed to the brilliant displays of the latest iPhones, Samsungs, Huaweis, and other devices with LED, AMOLED, or LCD displays will be profoundly dissatisfied. It may take some time to adjust to the transflective screen. Only in direct sunshine does one see it. The remainder of the time, you'll need to use the backlight button, which is only marginally effective. Incompatible cable for charging devices. Including a micro-USB port would be preferable. Also, you'll need to lug around an extra cable from now on. No matter how you look at it, measuring the pulse with a laser is useless. Not even Polar could work a miracle in this situation. There is a discrepancy of +/- 5-10 heartbeats between the measuring device and the chest sensor. This is really important if you are using heart rate as a training tool. The differences can be as large as 50 beats at times. It's completely inappropriate. Sometimes after a run of 6-7 kilometers, I've noticed this. It's likely that the blood supply to the skin's higher layers, where the laser detects the blood's color, starts to decline, rendering the sensors useless. If the watch is not snugly fastened to the wrist, this identical problem can occur. If the strap is adjusted so that it snugs around the wrist instead of the forearm, the issue disappears. Despite the apparent size of the screen, the diameter of the actual viewing area is smaller, leaving a sizable "dead" zone around the edges. The screen's image is not good because it is based on a poorly considered layout for displaying information. 5. If your tracker says you only have 10% battery life remaining, don't believe it. It's simple for him to misjudge his abilities and give up.

Advantage M! The watch you need!

Just got my Vantage M and I love it. The hardware design is really good, looks great and is very comfortable on the wrist. OHR is reliable and provides very stable HR values. I'm a cyclist and just starting to prepare for the season so I do a wide range of activities - hiking, weightlifting, running, strength training etc. This is my new all in one exercise machine. The GPS performance is also excellent. I travel a lot and the battery life has been great. I've been doing this for 3 days…

Performance-oriented, elegant, comfortable; best watch i have ever owned

as an avid trail and road runner (runs 80-100 miles a week) i cannot rate this watch highly enough. Having trained with different watches over the years (Garmin, Suunto, Epson and Polar) this watch is by far the best. The battery lasts forever before recharging, it's easy to use and has all the relevant features (heart rate, current pace, average pace, POWER!, split times, elevation, etc.). For the trail runner, the new power metric has proven extremely valuable as it is the only metric that…

It's good depending on what you use it for

Items received on time. The watch quality is good. Feel incredibly light but pretty sure it will hold up. I bought this primarily for heart rate monitoring but not a chest strap. Like many reviewers, the HR lags the chest strap in terms of rise and fall, but towards the end of the middle it will mostly match the strap by 1 or 2 beats on average. The more even the pace, ie jogging, the HR is pretty much the same as the chest strap from a visual point of view, but if you're doing interval…

The watch disappoints in the main features

I bought this watch because I have been a big fan of Polar watches for many years. I upgraded from the M430, which measures heart rate and GPS distance fairly accurately with a random start delay. Vantage M was a big disappointment. The watch looks great and the battery life is fantastic, but it couldn't detect my heart rate while walking (told me over 200 a few times) or during exercise (kept my heart rate dropping and cutting out). The distance was also much shorter than the M430 and if you…

Fewer options than the old M430!?

The Vantage M has potential. There is accurate GPS and heart rate. My first run had some dips in heart rate but haven't since. I probably wasn't tight enough in the first run. Pretty easy to use (same basic button as M430 and other Polar GPS watches). The keys are more tactile when wearing gloves, which is a big plus compared to the M430. But there are also disadvantages. What I miss the most is the ability to change the color of the training view to black text on a light background. White text

Reliable watch but heart rate tracking not compatible with all exercises

Overall I really like this heart rate monitor, the only downside is that it doesn't measure my heart rate correctly 100% of the time. I bought it to replace a very very very old Garmin. I think it's "fun" to be able to wear it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and track your activity + sleep, but that's not what I bought it for. I just had to keep track of my training and heart rate. Some positive points: I think it's a nice watch. The interface is easy to use and I love all the sport profiles…

No precision compared to the bracelet

I have been a dedicated Polar user for many years as an athlete. I still use my Polar M400 with great success; However, I was really looking forward to getting rid of the strap after 15+ years. Below are some pros and cons I found: Pros1. I like the button layout as this is (or was) Polar's standard. So if you've used Polar, it will be much easier for you to adapt. 2. I'm not a fan of touchscreen watches. I train to practice, not to play with dials. I understand fitness enthusiasts who want a…

If you're on the fence - read this!

Let me tell you that I have used FitBit, Garmin and Apple devices in the past. Most recently, I switched from the Apple Watch Series 5 to the Polar Vantage M. Overall I think this is a great sports watch. Apple is taking over smartwatches. But I needed a watch with a multi-day battery that would hold up better outdoors, especially when hiking, skiing, and hiking. Polar did a great job. A single charge lasts for 5-6 days of use, including sleep tracking, continuous heart rate monitoring and use…
