Review on Irwin Industrial Tools 47408 17 Inch by Robert Hole

I bought this bit primarily to make a dozen holes in a freshly cut tree stump. However, the drill failed to drill a deeper hole, prompting me to inspect the drill. I believe a drill was used and I can see rust on the tip. (see uploaded image) BTW, when drilling stumps, a shovel is much better than a drill. A shovel can move wood out of a hole more efficiently than a drill. I have found that you have to weigh down the top of the vertical drill to use the drill or the wood will stick to the drill and render the drill useless. don't get new.
