I wore this helmet for a few hours today and can report: • Installation was easy albeit poorly documented, so uncertainty reigned. Tip: Just plug everything together, it's really easy. • During assembly, the mesh visor was difficult to assemble. I used a retracted utility knife to apply a lot of force to snap the visor into place. The small fastening buttons protruding from the visor did not break. I was surprised. • A helmet is better than goggles because the wire mesh doesn't fog up, so you have excellent vision. Some say you should also wear safety goggles. I think I feel more confident if I can see for two hours and nothing gets in my eyes. • Headphones work great. They have a metal band that holds them up or against the head. You just put the muffs down and they grab your head. They are amazing. • The headband is easy to adjust and the sweatband is welcome. UPDATE: I put this helmet on for 5 gallons of gas on a chainsaw. That's great. I also wear it when I cut threads. The headphones are fantastic. It is comfortable to wear all day long. The metal grille front is fantastic. Running towards a tree surrounded by bushes and stickers is a great thing to keep things from banging your face and eyes. The only thing that got through the mesh was dust from dead trees.
