So I have an M1 MacBook Air. I tried the whole multi-monitor setup but couldn't get it to work. I went for an ultra wide and saw that while browsing Amazon. For the price I thought it was a good monitor to try. So I just plugged it in and used it for about 20-30 minutes. Here are my first impressions. It was just plug and play. I didn't have to mess with resolution settings on the MacBook or anything. I was afraid that the screen might be too small. But I would say it was exactly what I was aiming for. I like the quality of the display and as mentioned it's a good size if you're using it with a MacBook Air (mine is 13"). I noticed that the screen comes with built-in speakers so I have those tried them out. I'd say they are pretty subtle in sound. I think it's cool, but my MacBook sounds a lot better. Also, I had a weird dizzy feeling when I first plugged the screen in. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I lowered the frequency from 100 to 60 Hz I'm not sure if it made any difference at all or not but I will now say that it doesn't bother me now as I write this I also noticed that on there is a very faint bar at the bottom of the screen but you have to look very closely to see it maybe it's just my screen and it might go away generally for such a price I can say there ss I am very satisfied with the purchase. For the price I would say it's a good buy. I would recommend it. I have to say I won't be using it for gaming or anything like that. Just maybe working from home with Microsoft apps; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Oh, and some lo-fi and web browsing in my spare time. I hope this helps others if they have any thoughts or concerns. PS I think the blue headlights in the back are a nice touch. Maybe in the future they will be able to do this RGB and you can adjust it in the display settings.
