Review on ๐Ÿ”ง ACDelco Advantage 18B136A Rear Brake Drum: Optimal Performance and Reliability for Your Vehicle by Antoine Scisson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Very disappointed with the quality of two of the three reels.

Update: Revain has sent a replacement for the defective drum. The replacement drum is non-circular and the factory balance weight is approximately half the circumference of the drum. It is better than the first defective drum, but of very poor quality. Since two out of three are inferior, I buy one from my local parts store to replace and discard them. Causes significant vibration when braking. I paid more for the ACDelco name but got poorly made drums from China. This is the second low quality product I have recently purchased under the ACDelco brand name. They no longer seem to be the source of the quality they used to be. I've worked with brakes for many years and this is the worst new drum I've ever come across. The other drum is larger than I would have liked, but barely lives up to what the service manual says. Based on my experience with this purchase, I will not be buying ACDelco drums again. ACDelco is owned by General Motors. Not reassuring is the lack of GM quality for this item.
