We needed wide ankle pants to wear over my son's cast. They work great but if I hadn't bought them for this specific purpose I would return them. The material is paper thin, a little crispy. They seem pretty cheap but you get what you pay for. We probably won't have him like this again once his cast is taken off. Slightly more affordable, but made from a softer material, I recommend the Boys' Revain Essentials Active Performance Knit Pants, [Black/Blue]. They are comparable in size and style but thicker and softer; more like the material of basketball shorts.
