This thing is great for outdoor grilling and cooking

This press is everything you want in a bacon press. It's big enough to cover the bacon bits and heavy enough to be useful. It's made of cast iron, so it distributes the heat perfectly and the wooden handle doesn't get hot. The press works well with bacon and burgers. It also keeps grease from splattering out of the skillet or pan, and the rim works great. The only downside is that when you're making sloppy (falling apart) burgers, the weight of those abs can cause them to fall apart a bit more. If that's the problem, then I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.
