Review on πŸ”’ Uniden Bearcat BCT8 BearTracker Warning System with 800 MHz TrunkTracker III: Stay Informed and Secure! by Ronnie Saylor

This scanner is amazing

This scanner tracks all radio traffic with no problem. I live in densely populated San Francisco at the entrance to the bay and just under the GG Bridge. This little scanner gets it all. CHP, bridge patrol, bridge electrician, bridge shuttle bus. SFPD, SFFD, SMP. Yellow cab, DPT, port pilots, tugs, laundry vans, full (too much information) TMI! In search mode, with the included telescopic antenna, I can get a signal from the north like San Rafael (Marin County), from the east like Oakland, and from the south like Burlingame! For mobile applications, do without the supplied small wire antenna and get a magnetic roof mount. Bear tracker works. If he's been away for 2 days, he takes off cell phone extensions on the left and right. Programming is as easy as spending hours searching and tuning in to stations while you receive them. Trunk tracking has stones. In time you will be able to tell who is who. Don't want this frequency? Just remove it. Well designed and easy to use product. Crystal clear reception, intelligent layout and pre-programmed frequencies. are amazing. Maybe expensive but worth it. I feel like I've been scanning for years and this is only my 4th day. 5 stars for the delivery of the goods, in spades. I am very happy.
