Review on EWK 64 5Mm Removal Corolla Cylinder by Jacob Seymour

Great tool - just use it properly "GET THE RIGHT JOINT "

Ok I have this tool on a 2010 Camry LE, 2011 Corolla S and 2012 LE Camry used. Can you tell I'm a guy from Toyota? it worked great on all 3. From what I've seen, car dealers seem to like making life difficult for shade tree mechanics and tightening the canister so tight it's almost impossible to get it off. The typical torque required to install a can is 20 to 30 ft-lbs, not 90. The torque required to install a can is cast into the top of the oil can. As others have said if you use a 3/8" socket on the tool you are more likely to break the tool, get the correct metric socket. I think it's 24 or 27mm. I never saw some of these tools again. A built in 3/8 inch socket is very tempting, but don't use it. Take your time and make sure you line up the tool properly with the notches in the nose tool on the canister and fully engage the tool with the canister. You will likely need to tap the tool lightly to remove it from the canister afterward you removed or installed the canister.
