First off, these are the worst test strips I've ever used. I liked the idea of the test strips because they pretty much tell you what your parameters are without having to fiddle with so many vials. Well, let me tell you, for around $6 you can save yourself the headache of wondering what's wrong with your aquarium, much more accurately with a master kit. Water parameters are very important to save you headache and heartache when you notice fish loss, fish diseases or plant problems. It is imperative that you know what the problem is so you can repair and salvage your tanks. DO NOT skimp on what can save your aquarium investment!
