So I hesitated to buy another monitor as my TN panel was outdated. Instead, I chose a monitor with an IPS panel and ended up buying this one. The monitor is indeed of excellent quality with the ability to display crisp images to an excellent degree. The monitor also comes with G-Sync, which is a nice touch. This monitor is ok although a bit bulky for my desk although I manage well. I will say that this monitor looks better, especially since my TN panel was a 1080p panel. However, this panel has a disadvantage. 4ms GtG shouldn't bother many people, but if you're playing games in 1 second increments you'll DEFINITELY notice ghosting. The best way to keep it to a minimum is to leave it on - leave Overdrive in the NORMAL position. Even if you still see halos, it's not too bad for your eyes. You'll also be in better shape if you turn on G-Sync, it smooths it out a bit, although it's still pretty obvious that ghosting is present when you're focusing on a weapon directly in front of you during fast movements. .If you are a gamer who likes to play games at a frequency per second, try to find a monitor with a response time of 1ms. There are now IPS panels with a response time of 1ms, but they are more expensive. If you're a gamer who usually plays games in the 3rd person perspective, you might not be as concerned about the halo since it's not actually in front of you like it is in first-person games. All in all a great monitor for those looking for one. It has a few bugs, but it could be a lot worse.
